Annemarie to step down

We are sad to announce that Annemarie- CEO and Founder of Tees Valley Buddies has stepped down as CEO. Today Annemarie released this statement on our Facebook Page.

I would like to regretfully inform you that I have decided to step down from my position as CEO from Tees Valley Buddies. This was a difficult decision to make because Tees Valley Buddies means so much to me. As I feel so very passionate about it’s cause and spreading neurodiversity awareness.
My fiancé was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma brain tumour back in April and since then I have been caring for him. Which means unfortunately I don’t have the time to be fully committed to Tees Valley Buddies and give the charity a 150%
I am certain that you will understand the reasons leading to my decision. I would like to say a huge thank you to everybody for all your support and believing in us a new neurodiverse charity.
Tees Valley buddies are looking for a new CEO who will take the lead in driving forward a new exciting and challenging neurodiverse charity with passion and enthusiasm.
Who will be committed to our vision, mission, and values. We are looking for someone who feels passionate about neurodiversity and driven towards making a massive difference in the lives of all neurodivergent people living in Tees Valley.
I will still be involved with the charity and will be working along side our new CEO.
Thank you everyone for all your support and encouragement over the last few months it has meant so much.
Annemarie xx
